The Enchanted Revolutionary is a newsletter/blog/video channel providing political education from a radically magical perspective. The goal of this project is to investigate and elucidate topics of particular importance to fellow seekers, those who are drawn towards hidden or contested knowledge.

We live in unstable times. Daily life has become a bewildering barrage of unprecedented ecological catastrophe and persistent social injustice. It’s no wonder that so many of us have lost faith in the modern myth of progress and go searching for a different story, one which might better explain how things have gotten so bad and how there might be hope yet for humanity. Many of us know in our hearts that other worlds are possible. Ancestors and rebels in many times and many places have formed enduring societies in which love, healing, inter-connection, freedom, equality, and ecological reciprocity triumph over greed, bigotry, and hierarchy.

My hope is that the work of the Enchanted Revolutionary will contribute in some small way to radical social transformation, collective liberation, and eco-social reciprocity. Thus my methodology is three-fold: firstly, to assist my fellow spiritual seekers in sharpening our faculties of perception, particularly the skill I call political clairvoyance. Secondly, to provide historical context and philosophical depth to our analyses of contemporary freedom struggles, for we cannot create good futures if we do not understand ourselves, our pasts, and our shadows. And third, to encourage the exercise of our insurrectionary imaginations, that faculty with which we dream of a healed world and then, with our hands, make it so.
